Walking trail exploring the heritage of brutalist architecture in London. Brutal Walk – Over 550 students from years 7, 8 and 9 will be staging a walk from the schools own Brutalist gem of a building to some of London’s iconic Brutalist spaces including the Southbank Centre, The Brunswick and the Barbican Centre in aid of the Hall for All.
Hall for All
Acland Burghley school is a celebrated example of Brutalist architecture in the heart of our community. The Assembly Hall with its unique hexagonal design was the jewel in the school’s crown. Designed to be a community and arts space for both students and the local community, it became known for showcasing excellence in drama, music & dance. Now, we’re embarking on a capital appeal to fund the renovation of the Hall and bring back this special place to the heart of our community – a Hall for All
