Discover the public gardens and architecture on this photo walk around the Barbican Estate

If you love the Barbican architecture and would like to discover different ways to photograph its Brutalist aesthetic, then join this architecture photo walk.

The photo walk will explore the Barbican Estate from the perspective of its green spaces as well as the dramatic architecture. From formal gardens to waterside habitats and sustainable planting, you will be inspired to photograph how nature brings colour to the Barbican, at this time of year.

Discover less familiar locations and some of the Barbican’s best views. Pick up tips when composing photos, that will help you to interpret the landscape designs and the architectural features. Finish the event with some memorable photographs of this uniquely urban habitat.

Your guide is Anthony Palmer, an experienced photography tutor who also leads architecture photography walks across London. Anthony has been devising and leading photo walks around the Barbican since 2018.
