Get ready to dive into a world where architecture and urbanism collide in a vibrant exhibition launch!

Welcome to the Exhibition Launch: Representations in Architecture and Urbanism at Keyworth Arts and Media Centre! Join us on October 28, 2025 at 5:30 PM for an evening celebrating the intersection of art and urban design.

Presented by Dr.Bertug Ozarisoy and Steve Bowkett, this exhibition explores how architecture can be represented, imagined, and shared.

Dr. Bertug Ozarisoy’s Buffer Zone is a speculative project that rethinks urban regeneration in contested spaces. Through visionary design principles and conceptual narratives – such as Green Religion, City of Hybridity, and Monumental Representation, it proposes a hyper-dense, self-sustaining city where ecology, culture, and memory intertwine.

Alongside this, Steve Bowkett showcases drawings from his internationally published Archidoodle series. Developed to spark imagination in architectural education, these playful prompts invite participants to explore themes of space, community, ecology, precedent and fantasy through drawing. The exhibition also offers a first glimpse of Archidoodle Home, a forthcoming volume exploring ideas of domestic space.

Together, these works reveal two complementary approaches: one visionary and speculative, the other participatory and educational. Seen together, they expand the possibilities of how architecture might be conceived, represented, and experienced.

This exhibition is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
