This afternoon brings Su together in conversation with colleagues and former students

Su Rogers taught at the AA from 1972-76, in parallel with the RCA until 1982, at a moment in which modernism was being interrogated and architectural pedagogy reconsidered.

Her programmes encouraged students to learn from interconnected projects and how they develop in the contexts of landscape, towns and cities, rather than from the free-standing, one-off building.

This afternoon brings Su together in conversation with colleagues such as Edward Jones and Kenneth Frampton, as well as former students John Carpenter, Ian Sharratt, Rachel Chidlow, David Chipperfield, Paul Keogh, Sheila O’Donnell and Alex Lifschutz, and some of their friends, like Deborah Berke. Together they will reflect on student projects focused on housing, schools, shops and landscapes.
